I am currently a lecturer and philosophy graduate student in the Collaborative Program in Ancient and Medieval Philosophy at the University of Toronto, where I also received my BA in philosophy.

My research is primarily focused on the controversies concerning human freedom and the causal relationship between cognitive powers and the will in the late-thirteenth and early-fourteenth centuries. I am also interested in how the different conceptions of freedom held by philosophers and theologians in this period map onto the contemporary free will debate.
